dc.description.abstractХарактерною особливістю тоталітарної радянсько-комуністичної системи є запровадження терору на державному рівні, як інструменту утримання влади. Репресій зазнали не тільки очевидні вороги режиму, але й представники інших політичних партій до встановлення однопартійності, військові, інтелігенції, аристократії, духовенства, прості робітники й селяни. За видуманими звинуваченнями репресій зазнали й спортсмени. Тема репресій з боку більшовицько-комуністичного режиму в останні десятиліття широко висвітлювалася, але такі публікації стосувалися у переважній більшості щодо представників різних соціальних груп та професій, а щодо репресій спортсменів висвітлена недостатньо. У списку репресованих є відомі свого часу спортсмени, біографії яких пов’язані з Миколаївщиною. Незважаючи на зусилля останніх років з боку істориків та краєзнавців, багато імен ще й дотепер залишаються маловідомими, а то й зовсім невідомими серед широкого загалу мешканців краю, спортсменів і навіть спортивних функціонерів нашої області. У статті розглянуто біографічні дані репресованих відомих спортсменів-миколаївців, а серед них футболістів Пилипа Рябова, Станіслава Леута, Валентина Прокоф’єва, плавця Семена Бойченка, важкоатлета Івана Круца.
dc.description.abstract1A characteristic feature of the totalitarian Soviet-communist system is the introduction of terror at the state level as a tool for maintaining power. Not only the obvious enemies of the regime, but also representatives of other political parties before the establishment of one-party system, the military, the intelligentsia, the aristocracy, the clergy, ordinary workers and peasants were repressed. Athletes were also repressed on trumped-up charges. The topic of repression by the Bolshevik-communist regime has been widely covered in recent decades, but such publications were mostly about representatives of various social groups and professions, and the repression of athletes was not covered enough. The list of those repressed includes famous sportsmen of their time, whose biographies are connected with Mykolaiv Oblast. Despite the efforts of historians and local experts in recent years, many names still remain little-known, or even completely unknown among the general population of the region’s residents, athletes and even sports officials of our region. The article examines the biographical data of repressed famous sportsmen from Mykolaiv, including football players Pylyp Ryabov, Stanislav Leuta, Valentin Prokofiev, swimmer Semyon Boychenko, weightlifter Ivan Kruts.
